Richard Nicoll
20.02.11

We eagerly waited outside the Topshop show space on Lower Thames street on Sunday evening to try and flash our 'press' passes to get into the show. After a 30 minute wait outside in the cold we eventually got in and had a pretty good standing position with only two row in front then the catwalk. Set in what seems like an old converted train station it seemed an ideal location for Richard Nicoll's Autumn Winter 2011 range. at 7:30 the lights dimmed.

The first few outfits started off with brown and beige jackets with draw stringed hoods and large pockets. As you may see from some of the photographs music sensation Mark Ronson and fiance Josephine de La Baume were sat opposite us on the front row!

the collection to a turn to more floaty elegant fabrics in shades of navy, coral, orange and blue. Some tops had words in bold across the bust line with sequins, rather less serious compared to the usual Richard Nicoll.

Last photo is myself and Laura Sherriff on the runway after the show sipping a pineapple cocktail!
Overall a great show and fantastics designs from Richard Nicoll!

Jasper Conran
20.02.11

Jasper Conran's Autumn Winter 2011 show is my first professional fashion as a blogger. Waiting with anticipation at Summerset House and getting papped by surrounding photographers we eventually took our seats around 12:15. Sitting opposite Dame Kelly Holmes and Hilary Alexander two rows in front, the lights went down after all the standing attendees were let in and the show started.

The collection starts with tailoring with external pockets in shades of brown and creme with some models wearing head scarves then onto A-line dresses with the odd sparkle.

Overall I feel the collection was a success, my favourite pieces include the layered fur coat, the brown feather coat and the neckpiece on the last model.
