I was watching "the fifth elemt' last night, starring Bruce Willis and Milla Jovovich and though the costume design by Jean Paul Gaultier was awesome. It totally relates to his own work but also fits into the movie perfectly.
Tim Hendricks is my #1 favourite tattoo artist at the moment. Currently working - and starring - on DMAX's 'Miami ink'. He was the mentor to the now famous Kat Von D, when she was just 16 working in California. As well as great tattoo'ist he is, of course, an amazing artist as seen above. There is a link on my blog on the right to his website for more pictures and info. Im saving my pennies for my tattoo by hime some day!
To me, Ponsonby Road is like Dover Street Market, in London. Filled with small boutiques, cafes and prices ranging from up-market high street to designer. Today i wore a shirt from Next, T-Shirt from Stolen Girlfriends Club, Jeans from Topman and jacket from New Look (although i really didnt need it).
I came across this really awesome fashion photographer Sølve Sundsbø, who does a lot of work for china and Japan Vogue. His images are so dynamic and unique. I especially like the underwater shoot featuring the McQueen showpiece.
I finally own a few Stolen Girlfriend Club items after searching online in the UK for ages. Both my shirt, 'Elegantly wasted' bag and t-shirt are SGC. T-Shirt bought from Area 51, High Street, Auckland. Bag and Shirt were directly from SGC.
The department Store is Aucklands very own Dover Street Market, with a mix of new and established local designers including Karen Walker, Stolen Girlfriends Club and even Topshop Unique!
