Arbiter Elegantiarum
First show of London fashion week was the egerly awaiter Corrie Nielen show taking place in 'The Old Sorting House', New Oxford Street. The catwalk was lit up on arrival with hundreds of flickerring bowl light bulbs creating an eerie atmosphere. We had fantastic front row seats as you can see from the photos below which i will add more to.
The whole collection was incredible, a fantastic mix of structured tailoring with three-dimentional shapes with some draped garments. Her insparation came from 'The Picture Of Dorian Gray' and Japagnese contemporary clothing. I love this new take on 'east meets west'. Below is a photo of my favourite garment from the show, a cage mini dress whith what looks like gathered chiffon.
