The STAG girls have been hard a work these last few weeks in the run up the the 'White Junk' pop up shop in November. Their latest shoot, starring STAG director herself Emma Noble and model Jessica Bird, was to promote designer Heather Grant and have some fun with her cheeky cute outfits. Heather Grant will be selling at the November pop up shop so come on down to bag one of her one of a kind garments!

We were invited to the Francesca Marotta presentation at a rather 'swanky' central london hotel on St Martins Lane. Upon entry and receiving a glass a much needed wine it was hard to see with the room packed full of people. Looking through the crowd we eventually saw the semi-circle of models on the far side of the room circling what was probably to largest dress i have ever seen. Not only was the dress large but was intensely detailed with embroidery and sequins or crystals, this must have taken some time and effort to make but boy was it a showpiece you wouldn't forget! The clothing was a mixture of silk dresses and soft tailored shirts with ballooned cuffs and some digital prints, the shoes also caught my eye, simple but striking!

Last week I decided to shoot my university work and a few garments part of my 'Dead on the Sidewalk' collection featuring jewellery by Nick Von K. With photographer Sam Copeland and model Fiona Lamont, we were bound to get some beautiful shots as I hope you agree. The first garment was the first dress I ever made, a cocktail dress inspired by the 1950's. The shoes I am using are my own custom designed 'hoof' shoes. The second and third garments are both from my resort 2011 collection 'Dead on the Sidewalk' featuring jewellery by New Zealand designer, Nick Von K. The fourth gown is my latest piece, 'Americanna', inspired by America in the 17th/18th century and the mix of fabrics. And the fifth garment, which I completed a year ago was inspired by Scottish designer Bill Gibb. The Textile design was by designer Kate Bell.

Earlier this week on a brilliant, bright sunny day the Stag-Studio teamed up with photographer Sam Copeland to shoot the first half of my collection 'Dead on the Sidewalk'. With models Fiona Lamont and Jess Bird, we were bound to get some beautiful shots and I hope you all agree we succeeded. Clothing (in order of appearance); Nick Von K and Stolen Girlfriends Club, Jaime, SGC and TUK, Jaime, Jaime, Converse.
This week I got the chance to work with local, Aberdeen photographer Grant Adam from Adam-x photography. Adam-x specializes in Male portraiture in an erotic but beautiful manner, which is evident in these series of shots I modeled in this week. I like how there's a more violent comment on the male form, stereotypically the victim would be female, but in the case of this concept, the male is the victim.
